4th of July
We wish everyone a safe and fun 4th of July. Please remember to use caution when lighting fireworks, keeping them away from neighboring homes and roofs. We also ask that neighbors be courteous to each other and surrounding pets who may not enjoy the holiday as much. If you choose to use legal fireworks, here are some great tips from the National Safety Council.
Fall Market
There was such a great turn out for the spring market, that we’re now working on a fall market for Saturday, September 10th. Vendor registration will open July 8th. Watch for updates in the newsletters, on Facebook, and follow on instagram @centuryfarmmarket.
Wild Birds
It’s come to our attention that some birds nesting in the canal areas along the paths have been attacking passersby. These are wild animals, so please be cautious and do not attempt to feed or approach them.
Pathway Bridge
There’s been a lot of concern about children playing in the canal near the bridge. Kids have been hanging off the bridge and dragging dirt and rocks up on the bridge and walkways. These are dangerous activities, so please make sure your family understands this. It’s getting quite dirty in this area. Please help us maintain it by keeping it clean and not playing in the canal.
Recreational Vehicles
It’s the time of year when people are getting out and enjoying the outdoors or traveling, and RVs, campers, boats, etc. are starting to appear. We want to remind you that we understand there’s a need to bring these home for loading and unloading, however, please respect the rules by making sure you remove them from view with the 24-hour time limit. We greatly appreciate your help in maintaining our community!
